The EGGER Group headquartered in St. Johann in Tirol ranks among the world’s leading wood based material manufacturers. The family business, which was founded in 1961, now manufactures in 22 locations in 11 countries worldwide and has approximately 12,000 employees. Customers include the furniture industry, wood distribution, building markets and the DIY business. Sustainable management is at the core of EGGER’s corporate DNA. And this has been the case ever since the company was founded, because even back then, wood was far too valuable for Fritz Egger Sr. to simply throw it away.
