Chile GBC is a private non-profit organization founded in 2010 and is an established member of the World Green Building Council (WorldGBC) and Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction (Global ABC). We aim to work with businesses, organizations and governments to deliver on the ambitions of the Paris Agreement and UN SDGs driving systemic changes to address whole life carbon emissions of existing and new buildings; enable resilient, healthy, equitable and inclusive places; and secure regenerative, resource efficient and waste-free infrastructure. We work with our network of local, regional and global partners and strategic allies to promote innovation and productivity; capacity building; the articulation and generation of public policies; the development and implementation of certification systems for materials, buildings, infrastructure and communities; and the development and dissemination of enabling tools and technological platforms with the objective of fostering the preservation and efficient use of resources and improve the quality of life of people and their communities, thus, accelerating the transformation of the construction industry into a more sustainable, resilient, healthy, and regenerative one.
