GRADOSCOPE
About
GRADOSCOPE is a multidisciplinary collective of activists operating at the intersection of architecture, urbanism, research, and civic engagement. Conceived as an open platform GRADOSCOPE convenes experts, public institutions, policymakers, and local communities to collaboratively rethink underused urban territories and unlock their social, cultural, and spatial potential.
Our projects focus on overlooked sites, such as abandoned buildings, infrastructural zones, railway areas, and others , approaching them as layered territories of memory and possibility. Through spatial interventions, exhibitions, research, and public programs, we test how architecture can mediate between heritage and future development, policy and everyday life.
Initiatives such as New Life for Sofia's Freight Station explore long-term urban transformation through temporary activations, cultural programming, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
GRADOSCOPE works analytically and speculatively—mapping, documenting, and proposing—always aiming to make urban relationships visible and open to collective imagination.
