Iglesis Arquitectos Chile
About
Iglesis Arquitectos is composed of a permanent team of architects and draftspeople with rigorous professional training. Much of the firm’s work has been developed through architecture and urban design competitions, earning awards and distinctions and being featured in specialized books and magazines.
Its projects reflect a distinctive vision of the country’s reality, seeking to integrate culture and landscape with modern construction technologies and contemporary design. Concepts such as appropriate modernity, regional identity, and the spirit of the times form the theoretical foundation of its proposals.
Jorge Iglesis, an architect from the Universidad de Chile, serves as a full professor and teaches at several national universities. His work has been specially compiled in the monographs 20 Years 20 Houses and 10 National Architecture Competitions, published by the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of Chile.
