Problem-solving and engineering Academy’s institute for resource- and energy-saving and environmental technologies for the construction industry and other sectors. 

The most valuable results of the years' R&D&D (top TRLs), both transferable and licensable, are: 

• The lowest CO2-footprint high-quality porous/aerated concrete (sAAC) production using coal fired fly-ash and engineered green romancement-like binder.

• Technology for production of ultrahigh-performance calcium-based sorbent/reagent for flue gas cleaning - SO2 and CO2 removal with recovery possibility.

• Advanced technology and equipment for production of quickest-hardening high-performance hempcrete articles.

• Higher/augmented-porosity ultralight hempcrete articles production.

• Advanced system for the most energy-saving production of clay-lime romancement-like binders from widespread unused waste, preferably using biomass fuel.

• Advanced processes for production of c-a-s-h seeds (concrete hardening accelerator).

• Advanced mixers design and production, and other equipment.

• Gasification of fly-ash from coal-fired power stations, producing high-active pozzolana and lime and porous filler/aggregate.

The institute has been established in 1996 by the Academy. Since 2003 V.Dolgopolov was appointed as director of the institute and elected as member of the Academy, based on his success in developing and implementing of his new building materials technologies since 1989. He is also licensor of the institute (the range of his proprietary green technologies, patented in EU and USA, as well as some spin-offs and derivatives).

The activities and consulting for external entities are based on his inter/multi/cross-industry personal professional skills and experience, including (in addition to the main current field - building materials technologies and thermal physics and processes): innovation business management, intellectual property keeping and defence, civil and business law, etc.
