National center of technology innovation for green and low-carbon building

The National Center of Technology Innovation for Green and Low-Carbon Building is China’s first

national technology innovation center in the field of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality. It was

officially approved for establishment on December 30, 2022. Under the guidance of the Ministry of

Science and Technology, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the State-owned

Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and the People’s Govern

ment of Beijing Municipality, the Center has defined its development goals, research and develop

ment directions, and key tasks. It is committed to providing strong support for the overall enhance

ment of China’s innovation capacity in green and low-carbon construction and for achieving high-level

scientific and technological self-reliance and self-strengthening, so as to become a national strategic

scientific and technological force leading technological innovation in this field.
