Keynote 2 : Environmental Technology and Renewable Energy: The Twin Forces Driving Europe’s Circular Future

Agnieszka Sznyk, PhD is the President of the Board of the Institute of Innovation and Responsible Development (INNOWO), a Warsaw-based think-and-do tank driving systemic change for sustainable socio-economic development. She is a recognized expert in circular economy, sustainable production and consumption, and the economic aspects of healthcare systems. Agnieszka is a member and co-chair of the Coordination Group of the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform, a joint initiative of the European Commission and the European Economic and Social Committee. She also serves as an expert in the Circular Economy Working Group under Poland’s National Smart Specializations. She is the initiator of the Polish Circular Hotspot, a multi-stakeholder platform supporting the circular transformation of the Polish economy, and has contributed to numerous European projects and reports on circular business models and sustainable innovation.
