Sustainable Exhibition & Event Architecture in Cardboard
About
Papertown is a Vienna-based studio for sustainable spatial design. We deliver exhibition stands, trade fair architecture, brand activations, stage sets, and immersive installations — built entirely from cardboard.
What this means for you as a client:
No MDF, no foam, no composites, no electronics in the structure. One material, fully recyclable, with a documented end-of-life. Modular systems can be reconfigured across multiple events. ESPR and PPWR compliant by design — your sustainable representation is auditable, not just claimed.
The visual outcome is not “eco-style.” It is precise, contemporary, and architecturally serious. Cardboard is our structural material, not our aesthetic. We work at scales from intimate showroom installations to multi-storey brand environments.
Who we work with:
Brands that want their physical presence to match their sustainability commitments. Agencies looking for a sustainable build partner without aesthetic compromise. Cultural institutions, conferences, and event organisers who need ambitious spatial concepts with a clear environmental footprint.
