Biodegradable Thermoplastic Pellets from Agricultural Waste (Drop-in Plastic Replacement)
About
Eden Materials develops biodegradable thermoplastic pellets derived from agricultural waste such as date seeds and bagasse. The material is engineered as a direct replacement for conventional plastics, enabling manufacturers to use existing extrusion and injection molding infrastructure without modification.
Our focus is on achieving cost parity with fossil plastics while outperforming traditional bioplastics such as PLA in scalability and economics. The material is designed for applications across packaging, agriculture, and durable goods.
We are currently working with industrial partners to validate performance through pilot projects and are preparing for pilot-scale production (100 ton/month capacity). We actively collaborate with manufacturers and brands to integrate the material into real-world applications.
